TOZAAR 25MG TABLET is used to manage mild to moderate hypertension. It also used to manage hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy and nephropathy in type 2 diabetic patients. It contains Losartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It blocks the effects of Angiotensin II (substance produced in your body which causes narrowing of blood vessels), which leads to relaxation of blood vessels resulting in low blood pressure in affected individuals.
